    Just bought a Pen Drive that uses USB1.1.
    Will a USB drive in college which is USB2.0 be able to use this pen drive.

    I assume you mean 'USB port' in college

    The answer is yes. It will be slower but you wont notice that unless you're transferring huge files.

    surely a 2.0 port would deliver the same speed to a 1.1 device as a 1.1 port?

    As we're on the subject of USB:

    is there a real difference between USB 2.0 cables and regular USB cables? or is it just a big scam to charge u extra for the same thing?
