I'm living in the Claregalway area 9 miles from Galway and have the guy from NTL booked to come to change us over from MMDs Analogue to digital.

I've being reading the forums on the subject but most are centered round 2001 and 2002 so I was wondering what the current state of play is with MMDS Digital at the moment.

Basically is this a good move?

    What problems/issues have people encountered?

Apart from the price increase for a second digital MMDS box, it seems fine.

Additional Digital boxes are now same price as main box, where as analogue were half price.

One issue you might find annoying, the new digital box has no RF output, it's scart only, so you can't pipe it to another room without using a VCR or other box with a modulator.

Otherwise, the picture quality is much better than analogue.

New subscribers have no choice, they have to go Digital.
