We all started somewhere so here is the help u need.

the sky box is made for.... SKY so it is designed to be stuck on satellites at 28e. To get digital signals u need a good receiver that will cope with the different fec rates, and these are many, SKY can only cope with 22,000, and 27,500. OK for 28E as all on there will use 22 and 27.5. There is very little fta footie and even then u would need a motorised set up to move from sat to sat.

At the moment u can get footie at 42e with 80cm dish but it is analogue and ur receiver is digital.

To know abut the footie bookmark this site and if u want a bit more help post back and as it is Sunday I will reply. Say where u are located to make it a bit easier.

run ur mouse along the top and u will get drop down menus.

    good luck
