Freeview in Ireland???????

    Is it possible to recieve channels on freeview if you can get uk channels through an aerial??

    not necessairly. Theres no 100% foolproof way of even knowing for sure until you try but unless your reception of the UK terrestrials is 100% perfect the answer is probably no

    well we get the uk channels perfect digital quality from a company in north mayo who send the signal from ftv sky digital, so will it work?

    Unlikely. I live in south county down and can't receive freeview. It seems to work in certain zones only. It's very unlikelyyou'd ever be able to receive freeview unless you live right on the border

    I guess you're receiving your signals from a "deflector" so the answer is a positive NO (since they receive their channels from satellite)!

    Umm quite a few people in Cavan, Wexford even County Sligo have managed it but as you say a lot of places in NI cant get it at all

    most of Jordanstown/Whiteabbey (Belfast) cant get freeview and Divis is less than ten miles away :(
