They are the most excellent Swedish band called Apocalyptica.

    Beautiful.
A class way of settling arguements with friends who claim Metal is just "waves of noise with no melody". Shut's em right up.

That would be the "Inquisition Symphony" album and f*******ck me is it good!

They've several more Metallica songs, intermixed with sepultura, Pantera, and a couple of their own original works. Refuse/Resist is very impressive IMO

"One" is particularly good. Myself and a mate who played Double Bass sat on a tour bus (orchestra was in Germany at the time) back-tracking and playing the solo constantly to try determine whether or not they had duibbed in Kirk's original solo simply because it was that note-for-note perfect and accurate.

As it turns out, it was the cellist
    Talk about virtuoso! :D

    Sepultura by a cello quartet?

    Madness. :)

Only have the first Metallica album from Apocalyptica, must get another one, they're very interesting...

Am I right or wrong in thinking that they also did the Tool cover album? Replicating MJK's vocals beautifully! (Whoever its by....) it's amazing, even if you don't like Tool you'd probably like it! :D

I've heard a few of their stuff in a friends house before but can their albums be got in most record shops or do you kinda have to go out of your way to find it?!
