it was a shocking first half with both keepers not really tested but Soton edged it. All of a sudden CFC came to life a great move resulted with the most unlikely of scorers Mario popping up with the winner a Duff cross was hacked off the line Phillips missed from a header from six yards.
Yet another victory we are becoming the 0-1 away specialists next up Sparta and then the big one next Sun!!!!!!!!!!!.:)

it should be a good match.

I think everyone is. Assuming they don't all draw, there will finally be some changes at the top. The top 3 winning every weekend is pretty boring :/

not if you happen to support any of the top 3.

Perhaps it is novelty value on my behalf (as a CFC supporter!) but I'm enjoying it!. Nearly every premiership season so far has been a 2 horse race (Man Utd & A.N.Other) so to have 3 clubs breaking away is exciting. I think that ultimately it will come down to how the top 3 perform against the smaller clubs (and not against each other)- this is where CFC usually fall down.

True but they seeem to have rectified that this season so far. It really only hots up after xmas with the extra effort put in by team facing relegation and the pressure telling on the teams challenging .

and after the mancs Chelsea have leeds, fulham, bolton, portsmouth and charlton, lots of opportunities to drop a few points there.

It's a big week for CFC, sparta prague will be tough , Man U is always a thriller and they will cetainly be up for this one !!

I just hope we can build and keep some momentum through the new year, and thrash leeds too.
