Just got one today for €9.99 and its great. Very quick shave and I am on of the lucky ones who doesn't get sore after shaving so I can have a dry shave. Just wondering if anyone else has got it and what do you think? Also, where the hell does all the hair go, it just seems to vanish?

I use a Mach 3. Big difference between them and the 2-blade jobbies. Does the 4th blade make that much of a difference ? There seems to be an extra blade added every bloody year now. Yill probly be able to play mp3's on the things in a couple of years ! ;)

how does it compare to the mach3??

if its better i would defo get one. i hate the way gillette just keep pushing the price of the blades up. and how rediculous is it to release the exact same shaver with a slightly different colour scheme, a new price (higher btw), and an altered name. its the same bloody thing. 'call it something else and we can push up the price' - di*ks

    scam artists...

how is this any differant to any other razor? it doesnt matter if a razor has 1 blade, 4 blades or 15 blades, it will still do the same job.

u can imagine the razor ads in 2010. its the 17th blade that makes the differance

I used to use the gillette sensor excel 2 blade yoke and I changed to the Mach 3 a while back. I can definitely feel the difference. Its way smoother and closer a shave than even the 2 blader.

I had a Mach 3 but found that while it does give a quicker shave with less strokes, if I've got a few days worth of stubble it's very harsh. I've gone back to my trusty Sensor XL which is far more versatile.

I think the Quatro is merely Wilkinson Sword blocking Gillette from going with 4 blades. Of course, Gillette will come back with 5, WS will raise it to 7 and before long we'll be shaving with cutlasses and shouting ARRRRRR THERE BE TREASURE!!

The mach 3 is the business, but I will give the WS a try, just to see if there is a difference.

Has anyone tried those BIC ones ? you know the cheap plastic ones, jeez, they are like scraping your face with a rusty hacksaw blade.......

Now this I could see somehow. You'd look fetching in your striped shirt and pantaloons. But we'll stay away from references to shivering me timbers :P

The ad for the Quatro is the worst ever.

The guy who gets rejected has no stubble at all, while the fella who the sexy stewardess go's to, either has a crator face or stubble!

I'll give it a go though! Been using disposable razors up until a few weeks ago. Was getting tired of having to shave the same spot 4 maybe 5 times for it to remove some hair!

I'd never use those disposable Bic things. Ye might aswell be slapping yerself in the face with a spatula for all their effectiveness.

Well, when I heard that it has 4 blades I thought it was going to be huge but the blades are small so its probably about the same size as the Mach 3. The main difference I notice is that I used to find the razor most comfortable after 3 or 4 shaves but the WS is so comfortable from the first shave (its like I'm bloody advertising here  ). Also, since I don't use any shaving gell I notice that the lubrication on Mach 3 goes all over you but it doesn't with the WS. I was using some Gillette razor before this and the hair kept getting caught between the blades and I had to throw the blades out way to soon but as I said above I haven't a clue were the hair goes when I use the Quatro.

All in all, I find it better than the Mach 3 so far but I only got it yesterday.

How long do the Mach 3 & WS blades last?

Isn't amazing how 2 companies dominate the market.

    What happened to Lynx?

I hate to say it but the mach 3 is the best shave I've ever had; I got a quatro last week and I'm not best pleased. Hair clogs the thing after almost every stroke and cleaning the blades is almost impossible short of using a powerhose.
It' back to the mach 3 for me.
Now if only mach 3 blades didn't cost the same as a small family car...

But when you think of it - the life time of a blade is so short. From an environmental view point - razor blades should last away longer.

I shaved 2 nite using a disposable - well - It was like I had just gone thru the wars - I was surprised as the razor was made by a leading company.
