Haven't seen it. Won't go to see it either.

It's so annoying the way passé genres are being resurrected these days - cheesy love films and musicals, for example. Thought that nigtmare was consigned to the history books (and crap video stores), alas such is not the case.

It has a story line involving the Prime Minister falling in love with his tea lady...

I think the cheese is apparent without actually seeing it... which I have absolutely NO intention of doing.
    Richard Curtis should be shot.

    this film actually surprised me
ok its still a chick flick but the way the whole story works is really brave (eg yer ones brother being mentally ill and tires to beat her up in the hospital and the whole necklace instance)

hugh grant is hardly in it at all so that is a blessing and what about the girls in the bar
thats everymans fantasy right there!!!:D :D

should have seen more of denise richards and shannon elizabeth too

but there are some ****e bits in it too (titanic anyone!!) and it did drag out a lot but its better than average

I'd normally never go to see a film like this, but my girlfriend wanted to see it, so I ended up going (plus I'd heard plenty of good reviews about it from the telly and print).

It's not a bad film. A couple of scenes made me want to hurl, but I mostly enjoyed it and there are enough laughs to make it worth my Euros. Some people will probably hate it/dismiss it without seeing it on principle.

Yeah, I agree, that was shíte. I can only ever get two women at once when I go to the states.
