No logan's powers are of cell regeneration due to a healing power. Mystique's powers are of a shapeshifter, but because she is constantly changing her shape, and rearranging her bodies molecules and cells, they keep changing and don't actually get old. It means that she is very old, but doesn't look it because her cells are constantly changing and regenerating.

But if she were to get stabbed she would die from the wound, unlike wolverine. For an example see Uncanny X-men 300-303 when Fitzroy attacks Forge and Mystique, and nearly kills mystique.

Actually dunno why Xavier was there (maybe it was a mental flashback through sinisters mind) but Sinister became who he was back in victorian times. Yes he's been around that long. Apocalypse turned him into his henchman, yet Sinister (Essex) had other thoughts, and decided to spend his time trying to create the perfect mutant gene blend. He came close with Cyclops and the Witch queen (a clone of gean grey), though he got it perfect in Age of Apocalypse - when he blended Jean Grey and Scott Summer's DNA to make X-MAN (Nate Grey).

For some reason only summers DNA can harm him. Don't know why - think he MIGHT be a relative or something. They touched on it a bit in the comic but never actually played out. Anybody know anything more as to why this is?
