1 idea - buy a tv for your room and license it yourself. This will cost you no more than €150 altogether.

Otherwise, open the curtains and check out that magical thing called 'outside'.

    I'm a college student, I cant afford €150 :D (I have a tv in my room anyway)

I happen to go out quite a bit, tis just what do you do when yer too tired to do anything and basically lying down in bed with a tv infront of you that you need something to watch. ;) .

    Thanks elmo :)

A lot of the major shows from ITV BBC et all are also shown on RTE/TV3/TG4.
Personally I wouldn't miss much from them apart from the likes of Bo Selecta:D
and Wife Swap:o . UTV is especially poor.
N2 also has 24 and TV3 has the Shield which are both class shows on top of the ones already mentioned, so unless you're the sort of person who is addicted to crap like the Salon or Big Brother you'll survive
