Okay, you spend a lot of money, suck in smoke fumes for a few hours, wake up smelling of smoke with a headache, feel depressed by the depressant effect of alcohol, get slapped in the face by some girl/felt up by some guy, bump into the X and get stains all over your favourite clothes.
OR
You can go out and volunteer for a couple of hours and really make a difference in people's lives. For example training an underage football team for a night, keeping them interested in sport instead of drink etc. or you could help out at a homeless shelter, answer phones for the Samaratans. There is a great variety of things that would benefit your community and in a round about way help yourself.

think of all the money you would save...
