    Well,
were STILL.. looking for someone, we've 17 tracks more or less sorted, of our own stuff. We need a decent girl singer to put things in order so we can get playing, there will be work involved in getting it right, but the end result will be good.
IF any decent girl singers are out there, and not content with lounging around waiting for succes to come to them, give us a shout and we'll get cracking at it.

    Wel thats a good question,
we originally started just messing with a couple of tunes that Johnny (guitarist) and his mate were at, I joined up just to help out, hadn't drummed in years,,but the bug bit,,i went crazy spent big time on a big kit with zildjians and all kinds of stuff, as I am a REAL drummer!..not a messer,,the music started to go very well,,and became very interesting for me especially, as there was no attempt to limit my style of playing in any way..suits me as Im an active drummer,,who always looks to improve a song with origional fills and dramatic flare where possible.
Anyway his mate stopped coming, and we decided to try a girl singer..I just had the feeling a female voice would give the whole sound a completely different pitch...and so it did!...we got 4 songs fairly sorted out, she was good ..then she went on holidays in august,,,and since then,,,its been start stop etc.
It's a real pity, I REALLy do think we';ve a very different style, and all our songs are different to each other, there's power sure,,,but we made a real effort to keep things fresh. After having her singing,,we can't ever really feel a male voice can help our sound in the same way. So we keep searching,,,what else can we do?...there's so much rubbish music out there, and so few decent drummers, we feel if we just got a set together, our way of playing would really entertain a lot of people, my kit grows by the day!!,,crazy,,,but I use it all..and it looks and sounds damm good. You know, thats rare these days,,so many just do what they HAVE to, or play with the LEAST bit of gear they can get. I UNDERSTAND SOME REASONS FOR IT,but if only we got our stuff together,,we'de really give a show that would excite folks especially drummers etc.
sorry this is soooo long winded,,,but thats the kind of outfit were trying to be,,,,just hope we can find "golden girl",,herself somewhere....

    cheers and good luck...Baggio

    summary:
I'm great and I have a great kit and I play great fills and if we get a great chick singer it might divert attention from our whiney prog rock efforts.great.

Nothing wrong with being able to play, nor does an accomplished musician take any emotional content from music, I would suggest the opposite. It's usually people who a) can't play well or b) are too lazy to learn how to play well who throw this tired arguement around.

Good luck, Baggio, hope you find someone soon.

i went crazy spent big time on a big kit with zildjians and all kinds of stuff, as I am a REAL drummer!

A big kit isn't the be-all and end-all. At the moment I am getting by on a 5-piece kit with standard hats crash and ride. Purely because my finances dont allow for expansion on any scale.

Hell, I'd love more kit! :D

A good drummer can sound great on a basic kit, a poor drummer will sound terrible behind a mosterous kit.

Remember, unlike other life aspects, size doesnt count! [It's girth! :D] :D

    And Sabian pwns! :D

(Just fúcking with ya cuz I'm bored and at home having to be up early! :D)

    Einst,
..your correct of course, no-one needs a huge kit to be good, I saw a clinic a couple of months ago, and one of the highlights was when one drummer displayed al his talents on a snare drum only, superb stuff. So I know what your saying....Im just all enthusiasm..how else would I NOT go nuts tyrying to find our Lady singer?!!...so I just love all the options an 8 piece kit gives me,.,,and the 12 cymbals and extra's sure do help in giving me options also...keep on rocking...ciao' amigo's...Baggio....

8 Piece and 12 cymbals?! Damn you! :)

There's something I'd kill for no matter what my opinions on size are! :D I really need a job and/or folks that aren't broke! :D
