i feel like T3 was made just to make moeny of Terminator franchise, mostov has no talent whatsoever, he will never be as good as Cameron, infact i hate the guy, cause he ruined such a good film, i hope he never directs anything again!

i just rewatched T2, and man that movie still gets me thrilled, even though i know what's going to happen next second it's still exciting, T3 = a good pop corn with friends time spender movie, i have that movie and i don't even watch it much anymore, in fact i got bored of it

yea T2 was "remade" T1 but T2 added some good new stuff too, but T3? it was a complete copy of T2 and T1, they couldn't even come up with a new terminator and decided to bond T-800 with T-1000, easy idea eh? instead of thinking of something of his own, smarta** untalented mostov decided to "come up" with TX

the movie is only 109mins, i couldn't even get comfortable in a chair and it was over, reminded me of fast series of star trek and other mindless sci-fi series

everything indicates that the movie was made just to make a money, 109 mins to make more screenings....

eh, wait of 12 years, and here comes mostov to ruin the daaaay!!!! if that **shole directs T4 too, it will be a huge disapointment and the death of Cameron's brilliant child

Well, I saw it a logn time ago and there are somethings I have to say about it. It did keep with the storyline. Its not as if the whole ending was stupid but it did make logical sence. Though that is only die to the fact that Cameran did do a lot of the writing and overviewed the final script. The thing about the ending is it ensures there will be a 4th film
    about the furure war
. Though, you may be glad to hear there is still no details on T4.

The film itself did really miss that Cameran quality. In T2 cameran was able to bring a lot of feeling and emotion to the film coupled with the whole hidden storylines which are evident in the special DvD edition. The whole Arnie learning the value of human life thing, incase you didnt get it. Thats something that very few directors can do, particularly Jonathan Mostow.

If the film was directed by Cameran id would have had more meaning and emotion then what Hollywood produced. Cameran would have done the film how he had wanted to and not how Hollywood wanted. Too many directors today are being told what to do by Hollywood and making movies dumb, boring and meaningless.

I blame hollywood for T3 being not as good as the others. Well, and also the fact that Cameran said no to directing it ..... :) Ill probably still buy the DvD next week or so though.

*Shrug* I actually quite enjoyed it and found it one of the best sequels in years.
Sure Mostov isn't as good as Cameron but he's one of the top in the field of the action genre. What he had in T3 was an enjoyable adventure with a decent storyline that pretty much stuck to the whole established history and moved it forward in a pretty befitting way. The performances were all pretty decent and the action was quite exciting - the chase scene in it was the best I've seen in years.
I expected little from T3. In fact I didn't want it made. So when I saw how decent it had turned out to be, I was very happy and look forward to a T4. Cameron directing would be great, but, if not, Mostov shows he's done a fairly capable job. It got fairly decent reviews too at the time (74% fresh rating on RottenTomatoes ) and most of the folk I know were happy with it when they expected to be crying. Mostov - if you're reading this - well done :)

I have to say I thought it was good fun, not a touch on T2, but did you ever really expect it to be?

I was pleasantly surprised by T3. I wasnt expecting much and got a reasonably entertaining hour and a half.

That being said I hated T2 (and Cameron) and so the only way the series could go was up for me.

Worst movie ever? There's no basis for it! "A big disappointment" you could maybe argue (although I'd disagree) but from any film-making point-of-view it's far from the worst movie ever.

    ObeyGiant - lol! nice pic!

Winters - agreed! Cameron brought more feeling into the movie, machine trying to understand human feelings, that was brilliant?

and in T3 when Arni says "excuse me" it drives my nuts!

I though T3 was a very poor film. The acting was dreadful and the story was rubbish. The whole point of T2 was that the future COULD be changed. Then T3 just deceides to go with the opposite line that future is pre-determinded after all, sucker.

The effects and stunts were kick ass but nothing that blew me away like the T2 did. What ever else people say about Cameron, he is a master of the special effect.

The villian was just sad. The T2 terminator had real presence. The way he acted, moved and hell just stood around bellowed dont mess with me or I'll rip your spleen out. The T3 terminator had no menace. Nice tits, nice ass, shame about the acting.

Arnie while looking amazing for his age, is soooo past it to be playing such rolls. The gags were very poor and lacked that cool factor than lets Arnie get away with such lines in movies like T1,T2, Preditor and most of his other films.

Worst of all that smuck who played John Connor was a total wipe. The kid in the second movie had more balls than the adult in the third movie. Hell his girlfriend was more kick ass than he was.

Worst movie ever, no. But a movie that should never had been made considering the quality of first two.

    nice points there Venom

Kristanna didn't menace me at all, she tried to act cold but couldn't make it, she is HOT!, Robert Patrick was just ice cold

Arni didn't have anything new, mostov even decided to copy the clothes, in T2 Arni's clothes were much cooler! the jacket was much lighter version, it made Arnold look slim tall and more like a heartless cyborg, in T3 he looked like pumped up wrestler

yea that John Connor dude was sucky! and when they showed him in the future, and he screamed, the voice didn't belong to him at all! he looked like kid trying to be a man, the guy in T2 that was in the beginning as John Connor in the future looked much better and more like a real soldier

even from the start T2 is clearly more epic than T3, with all that fire T-800

it won't beat Matrix special effects

i dont think the film is a disappointment and it was never goin be as good as t2 especially with cameron not directing.

I dont think T3 has the sort of 'creepy, scary, grey, depressing future' feel about it, and is not as much of a thriller.

Nonetheless, it is very entertaining, and well worth a watch.

Even though it will annoy die-hard Terminator fans, who, like those idiots who camp outside cinemas waiting on a kids film(star Wars), to premiere(whats wrong with waiting day or two???), will feel hard done by, like as if they are owed a good film!!!

It is stupid and idiotic to say the film is the worst, or even bad!

The people who were waiting months for this film need to get out more and get a life.

i thought it was an ok no-brainer popcorn movie, just not a classic like the previous two, one thing i hated about it tho is when it tries to be funny, arnie does action he sucks at comedy, btw when i saw this thread i was like, how old is this, dont tell me you're just after seeing it now, i would've thought it obligatory to see it in the cinema, just because of the first twos reputation, even tho it was not very good

The thing that pist me off the most was the length of the film. It was over way before I had all my sweets eaten ! That can't be right. And why did yer one make her b00b1e5 go back to their original size ? i suppose they would have just got in the way when she was chasing the lads. Good thinking.
