DVD forum poll....

    Wanted to get the cogs moving on a DVD forum.
    this would cover DVD films, tv series, music releases and anything else DVD releases

    Personally i think this is much needed here, but lets see what the rest of you thing, vote yay or nay on the poll and tell them what you want!!!!

    I don't think there is need for one.
    Almost all dvd related questions fit into television and films as it is.
    No need to dilute things further imo.

    I agree with Makaveli. Not alone have we those forums, but there's also the Home Entertainment Forum, if you're really stuck! ;)

    Nope we have this forum & TV and then Home Entertainment for Equipment questions. Its fairly well covered already.

    ok, it seems like alot of people are against this, but allow me to plead my case

    I understand that dvds can be discussed in film, tv and music, however I think that the forums would benefit from a committed dvd forum. One reason for this is the fact that I have asked questions about a dvd in the film section that was completely un-noticed due to the other topic on display. In a DVD forum that wouldnt happen, or at least not as much.
    Also It means that you dont have to go between forums depending on the nature of your dvd enquiry (its hardly a trek across the desert, but its an un-neccisary hastle nonetheless).
    The forum could be used to review or rate dvds, ask about extra features, releases, easter eggs etc. which is something that is hard to get a response to in music, tv and film forums.

    home entertainment covers the technical side of, well home entertainment, not the actual dvds themselves. films is for films, not the dvd as a whole. music is about music and not music videos or films, and television is about television not dvds of television releases. I think it would really help to tidy things up if we had somewhere that these topics could be discussed properly, not just as an odd topic that often gets ignored

    although i would like to thank you for giving your opinions on the topic, as that was the point of the post
