    Didn't you just read it in the store...?

    That's what I'd usually do if there's an article I found interesting in a magazine.

    Yes, where were Kerrang during the 90's? I'll tell you where, there were down Billy Joe Green Day's pants suckin like a Nilfisk. They had no place for Metal in their pages when it wasn't "cool" and now they're trying to get back to being a Metal mag again? Pshaw to them, I say!

    Okay by the time I've finished this someone else will probably have posted it. Here goes anyway:

    ================================
    MINOR THREAT
    Ritchie Coliseum,
    Maryland

    October 31, 1982

    By 1982 Washington DC's Minor Threat were just about the finest punk band in the world. When they were chosen to support John Lydon's PiL, Ian MacKaye was thrilled at the prospect of playing in front of the former Sex Pistol. Elated after one of the gigs of his band's career, he walked back stage to see Lydon just emerging from his limo having skipped the entire show. He was gutted, but the 2,000 punkers present knew instinctively who the real kings of punk were now.

    There ya go. Just gettin a live video of "stand up and be counted" of Kazaalite now. Looks pretty great. Does anyone have that official Live video that Dischord put out?

    Yeah. I got the new Minor Threat DVD about a week ago from Dischord .... its amazing! Definetly essential if your into the band!
    The footage is amazing, the energy from the crowd and from the band is like nothing i've ever seen! I really wish i could have been part of one of there shows ... but alas the dvd will have to do! :(
    Without a doubt Minor Threat are the greatest punk band ever!

    Kerrang was always a bit of a half-arsed metal mag. For instance, you'd have an article on Metallica, another one on Motorhead and then one on f*cking Bryan Adams:rolleyes:

    Metal Hammer was always a lot better imho
