7-string Guitarist wanted!!!

I had originally posted this in the "Wanted" forum, but I was advised to post it here instead (with a few adjustments).

I'm in a band called RLD, and we have a drummer, vocalist, bassist and me on guitar. We're looking for another 7-string guitarist to complete us. Our influences are Korn, SOAD, Tool, Deftones, Metallica, Megadeth, RHCP, etc.

Requirements:

Must have own SEVEN-STRING GUITAR ONLY!
Must have own amp (preferably 100w or more)/effects/pedals/leads/picks/etc.
Must live in or very close to Blanchardstown in Dublin 15.
Must be dedicated.
Must have a sense of humour.
Must not be a real American-style punk.
Must be between 14 and 17 years old. (We can wave these age limits if you're good enough.)
And, most importantly (in my opinion), must not take drugs or smoke!! (I won't like you very much if you do. )

Why 7 strings ? Whats the big god damn deal..jesus Ive been playing about 10 years now and my Les Paul unfourtunatly only has 6 strings so no way il be able to join yer band ! Plus I drink like a fish ,smoke like a trooper ,and would take vitamin c if they only made it illegal.

Yeh so why 7 strings ? Explain yourself ! Anyways im ranting its bad manners,best of luck in finding a guitar player !

why is it bad manners to ask for a 7-string guitairst?
if you wanted a vocalist for a rock band, and wanted them to have a highpitched, crystal clear voice, i.e Bruce Dickinson, would you not say "no Phil Anselmo type growlers wanted?"

ok, 7-String guitars are kinda strange but its up to them tbh

it's just a guitar with an extra string tuned to low B (A in our case since we play a step down)

I know what they are and I know how they are tuned.
But specificly looking for someone who plays one is kinda..limiting your options..

Couldn't they just stick a set of 13's on and tune BEADF#B, or indeed ADGCEA? I don't think you're really gonna miss those last five high notes.

You are aware, aren't you, that should you ever get it together enough to gig, that 99.9999999999% of the P.A.s in this country aren't capable of dealing with that low A, especially on the bass, that it'll just sound like warm, runny sludge? Also, the acoustics in 99.99999999999% of venues in this country will make a good P.A. sound like warm, runny sludge when dealing with those low frequencies anyway?

Im in a band, who tune to A....some gigs i use my seven string, some gigs i use a six string depends on the mood.........but really its doesnt make any difference. Ok the strings are loser on the 6 string, but i dont have a problem with it as long as you have an ok amp , and my band play a good mixture of originals, some are slow and sludgie some parts have black/death metal riffs ie fast.
And the 6 string has no problem with this, the 7 string will give you a little more clarity alright.

But its yer band ! just saying that it is hard to find people with 7 strings, so you should keep your options open, anyways good luck with your band.
