NTL Broadband on a Mac

I was wondering if anybody has any experiences of using NTL's broadband on a Mac with OS X? Their web site claims that there should be no problem, although the person I spoke to on the phone seemed a little perplexed when I said I didn't have Windows.

I'm quietly confident all will work as expected, but I'd be glad to hear reports from anyone who is already using this on their Mac.

You probably won't be able ot use the USB connection, but the Modem will have an ethernet port which works with just about any OS on the planet :)

Okay, it has now been installed and is working beautifully as expected. The only problem I could detect is that the technician set my default browser to Internet Explorer for some reason! But that was easily fixed.

I have no idea what software was installed, if any, as I neglected to look over his shoulder. The only difference I noticed was that Explorer had been set as my default browser, but I assumed that's because he launched it to test the connection and then ticked the evil box.

Is any software required? I thought it was just a question of tweaking the network settings.
