Has anybody read the new batman comic?

I know in another thread i said it was rubbish but, what i didnt know at the time was that i was reading a pre release fro a differnent batman comic,

anyway, the one that everyone can read, ie the one easons has now, isnt that bad

but i thought i heard that it was gonna start from the begining, but it seems juts more like random early stories which is kinda disappointing really

    what do ye think?
is this comic of the caped crusader a let down to anyone else?
    :ninja:

I take it your talking about Batman Legends by Panini comics?

I thought it was pretty good.

Okay so their doing the whole Hush saga thing but concidering that there hasn't been a Batman comic for sale here in 10 years I think it's okay.

There is 3 strips an issue. I think that their going to run Hush as far as they can through is and then you also get a more up to date once of strip and an old classic "The Brave and The Bold" strip as well.

I've actually never read Hush so it's new to me. But it's even worth buying for the "The Brave and The Bold" stuff as it's classic Batman that reminds me of being a kid.

Okay so it's old stories, but it gets a thumbs up from me. Might even get a whole new generation into it. And maybe we'll get a mag with some new stories in it.

I haven't actually seen this comic yet, as by the time I got round to goin for it, it had sold out completely in Waterford. I will however be picking up issue 2 when it's available to see what it's like. More than likely i'll buy it regularly, same as all the Marvel comics currently being published. I'm just glad D.C finally got round to publishing here, I thought they'd never go mainstream over here. Step in the right direction and all that.

Went out tried to stop a crime with all the new skills he'd learned - got the crapolla kicked out of him. Struggled home and was sitting in the gaff bleeding and thinking about how to make bad guys afraid of him - and a big bat flew in through the window. Eureka!!!

That's the general one, there's loads of other stuff about bats in the Dark Knight Returns about him as a kid in the cave n stuff.

At least that's how I remember it from when I was a kid

I never got some of the reasons myself...i mean i remember a bat flying at him in a cave and scaring the living bejesus outa him, if i were ever as scared as he the look he had on his face, i'd have left a stain in my underware and would have been thrown into a padded room by the end of the week... how the hell he got a cape and leather from that is beyond me
