    for those of you that need to know, you do not recieve ITV2 with the FTV card, that channel is free (yeah right) if you subscribe to any package in the UK it is not available in the Irish republic.

    guess what, it isnt free on satellite in the UK either. how is it free if you have to subscribe to it :confused:

    i am a whole lot more concerned about RTÉ being a family pack minimum than ITV2 being the same in the UK

    I did actually say in the last post that you have to subscribe to sky to recieve ITV2. it is the same as E4, no subsription no ITV2 no E4

    oops missed your point on ITV2 in the message, you are of course spot on how the hell is it free if you have to subscribe. RTE came up with some deal with SKY where if you dont subscribe to the family pack you dont get RTE. considering terrestrial/satellite viewers in Ireland have to pay a licence fee this is just taking the P**s

    if ITV2 wasnt part of the UK subscription it may never have even made it to DSAT so it is something we will all have to live with

    I have a UK Family Pack sub and believe me, you're missing nothing by not havint ITV2! It's pure rubbish. The only mildly entertaining programme on it is David Letterman show and the odd Champions League game.

    when I lived in the UK the only time we ever put on ITV2 was when there was footie on it or when the wife had missed corrie and wanted to see it later on that channel,so your right it is crap just like E4 & BBC3
