Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if anyone has got or has tried the new Playstation 2 Netowrk adapter. I've seen it on amazon and several other sites and read that Fifa 2004 and the new GT4 (due out in April 2004) wiill have network gaming options.

THe network adapter has an RJ45 network socket on it and says that it recommends a 512K broadband connection.

Does anyone know if you need a straight conenction to a ethernet broadband modem or will it work using a router??

    Any info appreciated
    Thanks
    P

You more than likely need to have a router with NAT and DHCP enabled, or have the router setup as a transparent bridge with only the PS2 able to access external sites.
The DHCP/NAT option would let you simply plug'n'play, and if the PS2 network adapter were to use a simple DSL modem chances are you'd need to have a PPPoE client running on it, plus configure it for your ISP DNS/IP settings.
