I have just hung a second hand up and over Henderson garage door. Could anyone please tell me how to reset the spring! Thanks

Trying to remember back, IIRC, you have to hang them when open, cause then the spring is not under tension. Closing the door tenses the spring, and allows it to help bring the door back open. I doubt that ther eis a way to 'reset' the springper say.

Having said that, it's 5/6 years since I've done one, I could well be wrong.
