Foley to return for Wrestlemania XX

Yep folks, we could see a rematch at Wrestlemania XX between Foley and HHH according to Mick himself. There are early talks of it.

Is it just me, or is every plan they have for the biggest card of next year, recycled?

As much as i like Foley, i don't wanna see yet another match where HHH won't put him over.

They tried it before, it didn't work.

I still say that if they had say... RAW WWE and some WCW guys and then have ECW and some other WCW guys on Smackdown and then have invasions every quarter it would have worked a lot better.

But as i said before, I'm not the owner of a Fortune 500 company, so what the hell do I know? :[

for god sake its only starting to work now and you want them back together, where would john cena be if he was on the same show as hhh, where would kane big show benoith randy ortan and all the up and commers be if the shows were together. It would be 4 hours of hhh angle and brock and all the midcards wouldnt get any air time, hell as it is there isnt anough air time for them all

anh was hopeing for ortan cena (best newcommer match)

In fairness, how can you say it's starting to work? Both SD and RAW are tanking in ratings. It's now 24/7 McMahon mania, and Cena would easily get pushed REGARDLESS if there was a brand split or not. Look at Chris Jericho, NOBODY thought he'd be pushed for the top. It happened in December 2001, Five months BEFORE the split.

You think it's improved now? Ask Chris Benoit how it must feel to be stuck midcard for life being pushed in either tag matches to help Cena get pushed, or idiotic feuds like slugs like Gay Train.

Then we've got the PPV issue, they're all recycled. How many times did we see Angle V Lesnar, or Shane V Kane this year? More variety without a brand split.

The brand split in my honest opinion, has NEVER worked, and almost two years on and they still fail to recognise this!!

Hear Hear! I couldn't agree more. Foley's done so much, he's retired. Leave it at that while we still have so many classics to remember him by.

Look at Piper. For years he was remembered for low blowing Mr T in a boxing match, Painting his face and body half black against Bad News Brown in their wrestlemania match (and pissing off all the crowd in the process).

Now all he's remembered for is being overweight for an appearance at Wrestlemania this year and ripping off the leg of Zack Gowen!

Legends should remain legends, enough said

Why are you so against HHH v Mick Foley at WMXX...it beats the **** out of watching Kane v Shane McMahon or another boring technical wrestling match where coach mis-pronounces the moves and the wrestlers **** up in mid swing and lose the rhythm of the entire match...I don't think it will be Mick Foley v HHH at mania anyways... HHH will probably want to fight with or against H.B.K

And why does everyone hate H.H.H anyways he is the best at the moment without a shadow of a doubt

John Cena is entertaining but hes not H.H.H, chris beniot can do about 300 combination moves but he's not H.H.H

I'm going to Wrestlemania and if HHH V Mick Foley was on the card and be very pleased...If not, I atleast hope Foley is on the card cus he is the man...and H.H.H can produce a good match with a number of wrestlers so he should have a good one too..
The one I'm concerned about is R.V.D, I saw interview with him recently and he didn't look happy and was talking about how he missed the days when he was the whole f*%king show as opposed to the whole dam show and when he had Pantera's walk as his intro theme.... Wrestlemania needs ROB....VAN...DAM! He's MR. PAY PER VIEW!

hhh is cool, his careeer killing caracter was the best in recient memory never before were so many caught up in hateing someone so much that they would get behind whoever beat him, goldberg was booed in every match before he went after hhh. hhh is the game and mick foley said he needed to get in shape after his last return (total wrestling) so he proably will be in shape for wmxx he knows how importamt it is

Goldberg was booed in the beginning because he was a three move wonder (pretty much like Batista is now!)

I'm against it for a number of reasons. The first being that we seen it all before and the second one is my belief that once ya retire that should be it. Foley is only brought back in to try and boost ratings. It worked with Bad Blood, but only because Foley was the ref. Foley's better with an out of the ring character atm, before his legacy is completely tarnished!

The third is isn't against that card as such, but the amount of reruns they're throwing in for Wrestlemania atm! Kane V Undertaker..... again! Foley V HHH...... again! possible talks about Ric Flair and Steamboat..... again! I mean whats the deal with that?

Foley should stick to Co Gm. At least you could watch that! He's not in shape and I don't think he can get in shape b4 wmxx!

I'd much rather see Austin back (if we had to bring a legend back!).
At least he can still put on a good show! IMHO of course!

Foley was never in shape....but that why he was good...he was the average guy who mad it big in WWE..all cus of sacrifice blah, blah, blah etc.

Foley is funny too and isn't like H.B.K...H.B.K isn't funny...but I don't have a problem with him either...I think he's still good
