Not the complete figure as local roads are under the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government, another €394m (2003) or €49m (2004) depending on how you read it (they've mucked around with the figures and appear to be paying Road Tax direct to local authorities) ???????

This includes all public transport, except aviation (included under heading D and elsewhere). The main cut is in railway capital spending which will instead be financed by loans to Irish Rail / CIE.

They seem to be including semi-state and private finance in the government capital programme.

Note: the document is only partly searchable searchable.
