Newbie questions on Diseqc switches..

    Just hope one of you might be able to clear up a little bit of confusion with regard to the use of switches.

    I want to use a Neusat 4/1 diseqc switch - with input coming from 3 lnbs on a multifeed setup.

    Q.1 Is there any problem using this switch with dual lnbs? Somebody had suggested that there was a problem with this but wasnt 100% on it.

    Q.2 Basic, but i have to ask... Theres no problem with the switch itself being outside right? I just want to feed it from the lnbs and leave it on a flat roof

    By dual do you mean 2 outputs one sat?
    Two outputs two sats eg Astra and Hotbird. If so that works.

    My switch is in the shed that all the dishes are attached to. If exposed to the elements consider an outdoor electrical connection box and try keep it watertight as dampness won't do it any favours!!! :):):)

    Yeah, thats it.
