How do I enable cheats in Q3A?

I wanna check out the BFG, just outta curiousity...anyone know how to do this?

BTW, the new railgun settings rock!

run Q3A from a dos prompt, and type set cheats 1 as a command arguement.

ie: "quake3 +set cheats 1"

Doesnt devmap <mapname> work at the console?

Tried that, it didn't work for me *shrug* says cheats is read only.

Lucutus,

devmap <map name> works. Just replace mapname with one of the following. q3test1, q3test2, q3tourney. and it should work.

After you devmap q3test2, etc.
Type "give all" at console and use the numbers 1-9 to change weapons.
