    Ok so I purchased a 2nd hand sky digibox , with a dish and lnb(?)
    so that I could get some of the FTA or FreeView channels (i.e no subscriptions)
    - Is it possible to install dish myself knowing very little or would it be better to get a pro in. (anyone know companies who'd install this for me etc. )

    -Do I need to get a FreeView card

    -Without a card what FTA channels could I get

    Any help , pointers , info. etc. would be great

    Cheers

    See the FAQ up top of the page for a list of the FTA channels you will get without a card.

    It is probably better to get someone to install the dish for you.

    If you want utv, ch4 ch5 youll need a card
    http://www.free2view.tv./index.htm
    , bbc channels are available to all, self install is easy enough just need patience and there are many online guides to do this. If your in the dublin area and need help aligning the dish I could help, pm if you need assistance.

    B&Q, Liffey Valley Retail Park, Lucan.

    100m = €50
    Caution: dont pick up the cheapo stuff cos they sell this too!
