We're trying to install a Thermalright SP94 cheatsink onto an IC7-G motherboard but we're having problems removing the existing heatsink retention base (the black thing the heatsink attaches to). Anyone have any ideas?

[EDIT] We've figured it out. The wee white pins on the underside of the mobo need to be pushed up. Simple as that.

If you don't need that bracket, I'd be glad of it. I broke mine and had to do an emergency repair (IS7).

Please email me if it's available
