Sky Plus Dual Record and a cool idea of mine

    Hi guys
    I have just read on digital spy forums that the dual record feature is due very shortly, appearantly a software update was performed in the last couple of days, however i am not at home to check?

    !4 day epg on its way also and a 7 day a to z listings

    Just thought of a great idea wouldnt it be cool if you could call in to the sky plus box from your mobile and press buttons on the phone to make it record stuff etc coz i forgot to record the man u match

    What about being able to record from "other channels" via the manual record option. That would be cool too.

    Well, there's supposed to be an upgrade next year so you can SMS your digibox from your mobile. No idea how it will work but it's already in use in the US on the NDS system (which is similar to Sky+ and owned by Fox/Murdoch)

    Also a way to record multiple streams used in the interactive services will be available next year as well as broadband internet.

    Yeah the other channels section is too limited with no EPG or record options - I guess Sky has no incentive since they get thousands per channel just for EPG features.
