Anybody know if Network 2 are planning to show the remaining episodes of the current season or have they just decided not to bother showing the rest of it?

It also happened with the series about the guy who in his 30's who some how went back to his high school days.

Was it called "Do Over". Network 2 started showing it on Monday nights & then it disappeared.

In the latest in a long, long line of bizarre scheduling decisions at RTE and particulurly on Network 2 they have decided to banish it to a late night slot and it picks up where it left off this coming Thursday the 13th of November at 1:05am on Network 2.

    Ah for god sakes

RTE Scheduler: Oh look The Pratice only gets 250,000 viewers on RTE One on a Sunday Night during the summer months what shall we do with this programme.

RTE Scheduler Eile: I think moving it to Saturday Nights On N2 would be a good Idea because you never know what is on on a Saturday night on N2. Its like monday night on RTE One.

RTE Scheduler: Yes we will indeed get more viewers for this emmy award winning show if we move it to N2.

    A few Weeks later.......

RTE Scheduler: Oh look It is only getting 91,000 viewers now, what shall we do. I don't think its because we keep replacing it with Gone To The Dogs and award ceromonies and movies every second week, it must just be unpopular. Move it to late night.

RTE Scheduler Eile: Indeed indeed, those Crocodile and Nazi documentries are very poplular aren't they.

RTE Scheduler: Yeah! They are. And Friends.

RTE Scheduler Eile: Yeah! You cann't beat Hitler and Friends.

    RTE Schedule: Indeed Indeed.

Thanks for the info Go Figure!, there are some good eps coming up in the next few weeks. I didn't think I'd see it on RTE again so I got hold of a few episodes recorded from ABC in the US earlier this year.

While on the subject of David E. Kelley shows anybody know when Season 3 of Boston Public is due to start on RTE, the 4th season has already started in the US on Fox.

Your Welcome!. God only knows when we will see Boston Public, there were adds for it back in September but I have heard nothing about it since.

TV3 made better use of the stock of programmes. RTE really should pick a prime time slot for decent programmes.

Law & Order is all over the place with the Champions League.

Yeah Law And Order on RTE is all over the place.

Could they not just have Wednesday night as a sports night each week. Instead of Champions League, Sports Review shows like Sports Stadium.

Put Law And Order +CI, CSI +Miami, on every night at 8. Rather then those terrible documentaries. I mean these shows are not offencive and could be shown before watershed.
    Except Wednesdays.

Could N2 not be more streamlined and less all over the places.

TV3 made better use of the stock of programmes.

The only problem with TV3's uses of TV shows is that you never know if they have new shows on. I mean I don't watch Law And Order SVU because I never know where I am with the series. Have stopped watching all Law And Orders now because of champions league.

The only good thing that might come out of this is if RTE show the next series of The Practice as well. I hope the new cast are good.

Have email RTE about what the hell are they doing with Scheduling on n2 in general waiting for reply ........

Did they not finish John Doe?

Yes I had guest that CSI was a repeat on Thursday mornings.

I would say it will be back once the underworld is over.

Nope. Dropped it after a few episodes.

It's still on the Sci-Fi channel though. Mondays nights at 9 and about 2am, Friday nights at 8, Sundays at 9 and probably a few other times I don't know about.

(it's like E4 with Six Feet Under. Missed it, it'll be on again on E4+1 in an hour. Or on E4 in two hours and E4+1 in three hours. Oh and Sunday night twice as well. I actually find this useful)

Anyway john doe wasn't very good, there was a reason it was axed in the states.

Network 2 showed an episode of The Practice at about 1 am last Friday morning. I think that this was the continuation of the most recent series (Lindsay was in her own office, cute new recruit was in place).

Jimmy was defending one of the Arquette sisters as an old friend who knocked down a guy while drink-driving and took the body home to avoid being caught for DUI. Eugene was defending a guy being sued for sexual assault by his secretary whose bra he 'tried on' and wore home until he was caught by his wife.

Unfortunately, I ran out of tape in the VCR (thanks to Oz) - Did anyone see how this episode finished?

Jimmy got the Blackmailer to come to Roseanna Arquettes House, a deal was in place when the police and DA burst in and arrest the Blackmailer. Arquette didn't like Jimmy going behind her back, I don't think this is the end of the story somehow it just end so suddendly. :(

Eugene got a settlment of a rise and $15,000 for the girl for her to stay quite.

All in all not the greatest episode ever. But why is it on so **** late?

Have had no reply from RTE yet:mad:

I saw an episode from the new season on ABC last Sunday night and it was way better than I expected.
Just in case anybody doesn't know, nearly all of the original cast are gone except Eugene, Elleanor and Jimmy and new girl Jamie. James Spader and some English girl have joined. The English girl isn't great but James Spader is actually very good. I really think he has given the show a new lease of life and hopefully ABC will renew it for another few seasons. BTW the episode is no. 10 and called Equal Justice, it's very funny. Of course whether RTE will ever show it is another thing.

The last episode on N2 was excellent, it return The Practice to the good old days when it started.

Such a pity that it is on so late.

It still remains one of the best American TV dramas on the Box.

    Yes very good very good.

so want to look at spoiler but won't I just won't.

    :D
