Hi All, great site - just found it. I've looked quite exhaustively online for info on all sky packages available in Ireland - specifically Co.Kerry (although it doesn't matter WHERE u are re. satellite reception!) I've only found about 4 different packages - I thihnk there USED to be one called 'family package' that had all the UK stations as well as the usual sky 1, CNN etc.

Pls can someone either tell me what's available or know of a website stating alla available? I'm in UK right now, so can't just nip down to tthe local TV supplier to ask!

    thanks lots,
    My

The Family Pack is still there - 26.99 a month (going up in price from January to 28.50). You won't get /all/ the UK channels with it though. Only BBC 1 and 2. No ITV, C4 or C5. The BBC channels are now free to air, meaning that you don't need a card for these channels at all any more.

desparate, isn't it? It's so bally annoying - I've friends living in both Co.Dublin & Kildare - THEY can receive the ITV1, Channel 4 on their TVs without the use of Satellite!! Same as Broadband - can I have it in Knocknagoshel?? CAN I HELL! Land line to be within (I think it's) 2 kilometers of the telecom station - I'm about 7ks from it..... the rural community really are treated as third-class citizens in Ireland - same as NTL - NOT available here.... Chorus - NOT available here...
