    i've got a pace digibox and i think that the tuner in it is just about on it's last legs.can anyone tell me is there anyone i could send it to to have a look at it.

    Armstrong Electronics do these but are quite pricey, try Kesh Electrics in Enniskillen, url I think is www.pacelink.co.uk

    thanks for the address tony but can i ask one last question.if i was able to get the tuner myself would it be possible for me to fit it myself or would there be some soldering or other advanced operation to do which would require a certain degree of knowledge.

    I think its fairly advanced soldering but another contributor has done this so he's better placed to advise you. Sorry i cannot remember who it was.

    Yes there are a line of pins that need to be soldered onto the main board. If you're not too familiar with a soldering iron, it would be best to leave it to someone who is. Kesh Electric do a good job at reconditioning the tuners. I have heard stories that a well reconditioned tuner would be more reliable than a new one, as better components are used when reconditioning. Not sure if that's true though.

    well after listening to what's needs to be done, i think i'll get in contact Kesh and see what they have to say.
