I have a Pc (shock!!!) which is runing my dsl iol modem, I also have a G4 laptop. What i want to do is access the web off the same conection, now can I access the pc wirelessly if i stick in a Ap somewhere in the line of things? What are the likely probs, bar the different OS, do macs like to talk to pc's or do they treat them as social rejects! Any ideas, thanks.

you could buy and access point with a built in router, if your modem supports connection though ethernet. if not, just get a wireless card for your pc. if your running winxp theres internet connection sharing. sharing with a mac is no problem and the mac and windows will talk. not sure about osx, but os 8.6 needs DAVE to talk to windows. i think OSX will talk to windows no problem. if your not running winxp, get some sort of free proxy server for windows (www.proxyplus.cz is not fully free, but free for 3 users, which should be enough) and just use it with the mac. should work fairly easly. if you do have an ethernet modem, you can get both clients wirelessly connecting, or your mac connecting wirelessly and the windows box wired, if you want. sorry for the waffally answer. hope it helps though.
