    I would certainly like to see it ... Channel 4 is the only channel I can see even considering showing it though

    I was quite surprised by how fast the whole Camp X-Ray thing was completely forgotten by the media.

    Also what exactly are the US going to do with these "enemy combatants?" Are they being held indefinitly.

    From what I have read of the news some are being released as innocent after spending 6months to a year there.

    As for the media. The media are banned from the place. US Media is allowed in but they are not actually allowed report anything bad about the place. The BBC crew got thrown out for actually doing thier job.

    How did he get access to film this? The US I thought let noone touch it unless they did a FOX-news and waved patriotic flags around a lot.

    What's the deal with the prisoner's rights btw? I seem to recall someone saying that the location of Guantanamo Bay is such that it's in a "no man's land" and is, as a result, not subject to articles such as the Geneva Convention.

    At a guess they spoke to prisoners who have been released.

    They don't have any, except maybe under the geneva convention but it is not like we will let something like that get in the way.

    I remember reading somewhere that Bush has agreed to apply some of the Geneva Convention to the Taliban prisoners but not to anyone suspected of being part of Al Queda.

    I think neither are considered POW yet though, so they aren't treated as well as they could (should) be under the convention.

    It seems all Bush as to do to ignore the convention is to say that they aren't POWs. Kinda makes a mockery of the convention, but then Bush should be well used to mocking international law.

    The Taliban prisoners have been given prisoner of war status under the Geneva Convention. I don't know what the status of the other prisoners are.

    <additional/>
    I could be wrong though, al-jazeera's website say they haven't been granted prisoner of war status.

    Another interesting program thats already been slated in the US is Olivers Stones interviews with Fidel Castro. That would be interesting watching in my opinion. Wonder if we'll get to see that one?

    None have been released as innocent. All were captured while fighting as unlawful combatants and are, as such, guilty of that. Many have been released on the grounds of not being a continuing threat to all of us.

    Try to pay attention to what is going on.

    Well over a 100 people have been released as innocent while spending months in those cages.

    Quick search -> http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/3051501.stm

    Actually a number of them are to be released very shortly as innocent. Of course in the civilised world we have this crazy concept called "Innocent until proven guilty" to stop this sort of ****.

    I'm sure you wouldn't mind being stuck in a cage for 6 months or more then being let free innocent without any compesation. I mean there are reports of familys destroyed by debt because one of the inmates was taken without telling anyone.

    There are also children still detained in the camp who have not been charged with anything. In fact at least one of the kids is the son of a terrorist they captured. He was flown in after his father was captured.
