    Every time Celtic play on BBC Scotland they don't show it over here. There is a match tonight on BBC Scotland, Bordeaux-v-Hearts, will we be able to watch that in Ireland?

    It is only Scottish Premier League matches that are blocked - not Scottish matches in general.

    The Hearts game is the UEFA Cup and should be available to all.

    For those who may be interested, BBC Scotland's Sportscene programme shows a round-up of all the SPL goals on Saturdays at 5pm, and Reporting Scotland shows them on Mondays at around 6.45pm.

    This is a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. Why does BBC Scotland block the SPL, but not Hearts in the UEFA Cup? (Well done, Hearts, for beating Bordeaux!!!!)

    Different Competition, Different Rights! The Uefa Cup can be shown throughout the UK whereas the Scottish Premier League can only be shown for free in Scotland with the exception of the Old Firm matches.

    BBC Scotland show all the days highlights on Sportscene soon after the games are finished. it is available on satellite FTA
