I think it's a little pointless, unless you write a story, or tell jokes, or do poetry. It's like being a little teenager with a little diary. Why would people want that?

I have, for at least 2 years now. Yeah it's a little self-indulgent, but I also use it for personal stuff like to-do's and important url's etc.

I started a blog (www.blogspot.com) to get me into the habit of writing everyday, and it worked - I used to put a haiku up there every day as well as the entry and even got an email from a school teacher in Australia asking could she use some of them to teach to her class.

I switched to LJ when blogspot changed their interface. Living in Belgium for a year, it's a great way to keep in contact with people and see what's going on with the gang back home.

A code is a privilege! They only give them out under certain circumstances to users, so they should not be squandered needlessly.

Because my memory is failing and I like to be able to go back over stuff I did a while ago and remember it.
Plus, I've tried to document some of my more 'colourful' sexual experiences in it.....haven't got those fully up to date yet though.

I think it's funny, I asked good ol' Bomby to post this, because I think it would have gotten a better reaction coming from him than me. Just curious and am a tad suprised that people were actually interested in LJ. My journal just turned three years old not too long ago. I asked Bomb to sign up and in turn I signed up for boards..although I think he got the better end of the deal. I'm not using this inaccurate, unscientific poll to expand my friends list either. Just merely a census done for advertisement purposes.
