Installing mandrake through ftp

    Hi,
I'm trying to install Mandrake at the mement. Problem is 9.2 isn't out as an iso image yet. Aswell as that i just want to install it to try it out before Fedora linux comes out during the week.

So my only choice is to do an ftp install. Which naturally should'nt be to different to the way i've done so many times with cd. However i'm behind a firewall and have to use a http proxy to access the heanet.ie ftp server or any ftp server for that matter. So here is the question. How do i tell the installer to access the heanet server through my http proxy. I can't see the option in the loader. Which seems to me like a feature that would be standard for a linux installer. In fact i remember debian having this feature two years ago.

    Any takers?
