Bank Drafts

I sent a bank draft via post on Saturday. It is made payable to a specific person.

Today is Tuesday & they still have not received it.

Should I contact the bank or the post office?

I should have either registered it or even got a certificate of postage - but the post office was closed at the time.

Should I get the bank to keep an eye out for it?

If they haven't recieved it by tommorrow morning, I'd say you should contact the post office first, and if you get no joy, then contact the bank to cancel it.

(There maybe a backup of mail in Dublin due to the mail strike that was in the UK over the last few days. It's over now.)
