Empire have recently come up with a list of 10 of the cheesiest movie moments of all time .
They've got some of the best ones. What movie scenes made you want to vomit they were so bad? The worst line in a movie ever was "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" in Dirty Dancing, destroyed an otherwise great movie.

Army of Darkness: Evil Dead 3.

Cheesy but in a good way.

'Give me some sugar, baby' :D

The whole movie was rubbish, but Wesley Snipes' "Always bet on black" in Passenger 57 was particularly bad.

    Armageddon:
American flag waving tosh and as for the dialog.
Space Shuttle Pilot : "Houston, this is one hell of a ride..." shyte summed it up for me.

    Independence Day:
The President's "The Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday... Today we celebrate our Independence Day." speech.

I'm sure there are quite a few in Pearl Harbour but I never wasted my time watching it.

I have nothing against the American people - my sister married one of them.

It's just that when it comes to cheesy movie moments there are easy pickings - think of a movie with U.S. uber patriotic overtones and you're 99% of the way there. It's just too easy because they're nearly always over hyped 'blockbusters'. :D

"Is it still raining? I hadn't noticed"

I'd have firmly placed that in the number one slot. I cringed. CRINGED, I tell you.

Apparently, in the context of movies, cheesy means a line/scene that is so cringingly soppy/heroic/stupid that you just want to be sick/switch off movie/shoot yourself for paying to see the movie etc.

    matrix revolutions

The last 15 minutes or so of Revolutions made me wanna puke on my own face. The cheesiest ending in a film imo was in Total Recall, which is quite similar to Revolutions scarily enough !

    Speed with Keanu Reeves.

    "you gotta go down man"

All of that movie was ball-shrinkingly cheeeeeezyyyyy!

Can anyone remember Reeve's character's name? It was something god-awful like "Flash Speedipants"

"The most cheesy movie moment by far was that movie where the president lands on an aircraft carrier and declares mission accomplished...oh, wait, that was reality.
    Doug Tarnopol,USA"

    :D:D:D

    Jack Traven

Follows the broad guideline that action heroes should have a snappy one-syllable first name and a two-syllable family name.

At the end of Rambo 3 when faced by half the Russian army the colonel asks Rambo
    "what'll we do johnny"
    and rambo replies "**** em"

    boom boom boom

rambo 3 is the REAL hot shots

One of the most cheesy moments in a film had to be When Yoda fights Christopher Lee's character in Attack of the Clones. The whole cinema just p*ssed themselves laughing...Ha Ha!

Universal Solider 2...........cheeiest ever......at the start they recreated the ending of universal solider with different actors.whats the story

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 801 ✭✭✭nialldinho

The end of the original Matrix. The whole "But you can't die...I love you" bit or whatever it was she said. What a load of arse. The rest of the film was ok but that just ruined it. I've heard there's worse to come in the other two movies but I can't comment on them cos I haven't seen them.
