im not sure if it was posted b4 or anything but i would like to dedicate this to angry beavers n ren and stimpy
i loved both of them but now i dont have a clue what channels they are on
i know they aint that old and 'retro', but they were classics
    and had the old-sipmsons charm
i actually prefered angry beavers and i remember an episode
with muscalur beaver, with the sock on the head and the whole-flying-out-the-window-thing, HILARIOUS :D *sigh*
and i think, stumpy (is that his name?)
and he was the stump dat could do anything
    ahhhh, pure genius.... *sniff....

The Ren and Stimpy Show would be considered retro by now and is still a masterpiece as far as modern animation is concerned (only the first two seasons though). Still have a large appreciation for this show.
A new series of Ren and Stimpy is on the airwaves over in the US at the moment, aimed at adults this time round; apperantly, it has lost all its innocence and charm.

The Angry Beavers weren't really classic. In fact, I totally forgot about them until now. The characters weren't great (like Stump) and it just didn't have the same flair that made Ren and Stimpy stand out. The animation was nice, but I bet Nickelodeon were unsure of where to take the show after the first season...

Still, it beats Hey Arnold!, or any of those other moral-filled Nickelodeon cartoons. In fact, any cartoons I see on the TV these days are pretty crappy.
