Using Sky Digibox for FTA - Questions from a Dunce

    Greetings,

I've attempted to follow all this talk of toggling and whatnot but mine is not a technological mind and thus I am starting yet another thread on this well covered topic. Hope someone can answer the following in words of one syllable:
I have a Sky Digibox and currently subscribe to Sky. I would be quite happy with just the BBC FTA channels and the other odds and sods that seem to be floating around. Do I have to give my Digibox back to Sky if I unsubscribe? If so, what do I get instead and from who (there seem to be local chancers who will sort it all out for around 400 euro but this is surely unnecessary?) If I can keep the box, do I just get a FTA card?

Also, I have no terrestrial aerial. Will I need one?

    Thanks in advance.

    No

Yes if you want ITV/channel 4/channel 5. You won't need one just for the BBCs (turn your card upside down, reboot the machine and you'll find the BBC channels on 101/102/115/116)

Yes, if you want the Irish terrestrials
