Im interested in gettting a motorised dish setup but i havent a clue how much they cost and what else i have to get. At the moment i have an 80cm dish(lidl dish from the summer- would i have to get a new dish?), universal lnb, and a skystar2 card on my pc. Any info would be much appreciated including price in euros and where i could order one. Thanx in advance

As far as I know the skystar uses Diseq 1.2 which can be used to drive a diseq horizon to Horixon mount which your existing dish may well just bolt on to.

I found this site which delivers to ireland for 15 euros.

    Whats the difference between the:
Superjack DG 120, DiSEqC 1.2 Motor

    and

    Stab HH 100

Can anyone recommend the best one to buy and would this be all i need to move my dish??

Although its true that it does use Diseqc 1.2, unfortunately because of the drivers that Technisat supply for the card, it is impossible to send raw diseqc messages to a motor and therefore impossible to drive a motor...unless things have changed in the last few months...i dont really pay attention to it all now.

i saw on www.dvbnetwork.com in the skystar2 section that theres a plugin called SS2DiSEqC 1.5 that is meant for skystar2, dont know if its an official plugin but according to some of the replies in that forum it works so hopefully it'll work 4 me.
