    Anyone else see yahoo doing the whole google tabs thingey, as in 'web' then 'images' etc.

    Its really handy and all but I still prefer the proper google.. much better

    There was a chance of MS buying Google or forming a partnership, but they never came to anything, and now Google's about to float on the stock market. Linkage.

    And Hotmail was bought by Microsoft in early 1998, if I remember correctly. I was a hotmail user for a couple of years at the time, but I got a Yahoo address soon after the takeover.

    I still have a hotmail account and a yahoo accot. Not using much MSN afer the whole you must pay us crap! Soooooo On with yahoo!!!

    Well, the 'basic' service is free, you just get 2mb space though (6mb on yahoo as far as I remember), which is s.f.a. in these days of mad attachments. You can, however, purchase additional space (and other features?) from Hotmail.

    Remember it used to be called HoTMaiL.

    I still have my 7 year old hotmail account.

    I maintain it for the nostalgia effect and as a sort of tribute to the way email used to be.
