Digibox with 2 Card Slots

My digibox is a Panasonic with two card slots in front (CAMS??). The spare one is labelled "Interactive Card" - anyone know if this slot could be used for, say, an FTV card?

If I manage to get one of these cards by dialling the UK number, I'm thinking how great it would be to simply leave it inserted alongside the Sky card and have ITV & C4 (couldn't care less about C5) at the touch of a remote-button.

Any expert advice more than welcome

*I only get a "Please insert your card..." message when I try removing the Sky card and popping it into this other slot*

Can't do that I'm afraid (though it would be handy). The Interactive slot was put there to enable micropayments. Mondex never took off in the UK so it's there today pretty much just because it's part of the digibox spec sent to manufacturers (and deep down I'm sure Sky hope it'll take off some day)

There's no legitimate reason why anyone would want a Sky digibox with two viewing card slots according to Sky (given that all of us with FTV cards are watching telly we shouldn't) so I doubt we'll ever see one.

Oh Well, I thought it was a bit too straightforward to be true.

Thanks anyway Sceptre for the info.
