Taking the pill wrong.

    been on the pill for the 3 weeks now. when i went to my doctor my period had just started and i thought she told me to start taking it five days after the start of my period. readin through the booklet thing now says that you should start taking it either on the first day or on ure 5th day. but i started takin it on the 6th.
    does anyone know if that means ive feiced up totally? been using condoms as well cause im not stupid about vds.

    You should ask your doctor about it. If you're using condoms than at least you're safe, and if you have messed that course up you can just start again on your next cycle.

    you'd have to go back to your doctor and ask...I know if you miss a pill or delay on taking one that you aren't covered for about 7-10 days depending on the pill but I think its different when you are beginning it for the first time. You'll have to go back to her and make sure. Or if it a GP rather than a clinic they usually dont mind if you give them a phonecall.

    If you dont mind me asking what brand are you taking and is it combined or progesterone only?
