IMAP Maildir problem

On UCD's netsoc server, i stupidly deleted some parts of my Maildir directory, thinking it belonged to one of the console mail clients.

It turns out now that i cannot receive mail at all.

Seen as I hadn't customized it at all - does anyone have the default files or directories that i should create to make it work again.

I wrote to the sysadmin but he hasn't gotten back yet.

gewgle for maildirmake. read the man pages for it and then recreate the hierarchy.

I did a google and have made a quick 'n' nasty job of it:

    mkdir tmp
    mkdir cur
    mkdir new

    seems to work anyways.
