Question what would be the ground Zero? The Airport (in which case a lot of Southsiders live) or the American Embassay?

    the airport i'd say.

NATO contigency plans state that in the event of nuclear war between the US and Russia, our own fair little isle would have become basically a military base, and there wouldnt have been a thing we couldve done to stop the troops moving into key locations like Dublin airport and shannon.

So that would have made us a legitamate target for Soviet forces.

If there had a been a nuclear war. We all would have been dead, it'd just take some people longer than others.
Mind you if it wasn't for the arms race the US Military wouldn't have cared if one of their supercomputers wasn't linked to the network, and ARPANET wouldn't have been created and TCP/IP wouldn't have been invented and the internet wouldn't exist.

Thanks to the threat of nuclear war we can nuke each other online! Wuhoooo!!! smile.gif
