Sky+ Poor Signal Quality

In the last week or so the signal quality of my Sky+ install (mid Sept) has been decreasing. Sky Sports and Sky Spts News now say 'No Satellite Signal Received' and the Sig Quality is roughly 50% or less.

When I call Sky I'd like to sound educated so I'm wondering what the possible causes are and will I have to pay callout seeming as I only have the upgrade 6-8 weeks or so?

If it happened just after lightning then its most likely the lnb or coax unless the dish has moved in the wind. Whether you have to pay or not really depends on what is causing the fault. Storm damage is not normally covered under warranty

Thanks, we've had no lightning or storms in Cork but seeming as it is simply getting wetter and my signal is getting worst I wonder could it be a case of water leaking into the LNB / cable connection or similar?

I guess the bottom line is I need to get a guy to take a look.

I noticed last night actually that sky moviemax was breaking up.
There was no such problem on the BBC or ITV channels.
The signal strenght was nearly full as usual but the quality bar was fluctuating quite a bit.

It could actually be something to do with the the soalr storm as you'd imagine the problem would be more on the uk and Irish channels wouldn't you?
No such problem with me this morning and it's raining heavily.
