New O2 branded Cam phone

Just got the ESB Xmas catalog.
In it there's a phone I've never seen before.
It's a clam shell model with a camera in the same place as the Samsung models. It's branded O2 with no mention of other brands.
Thing is it's only €199 on speakeasy so it sounds like a fairly good deal. Does anyone know much about this phone cause I've seen no mention of it on here yet.

its the sharp x1. not launched yet. still in final testing. should be out by end november

there was a release during the week from mmO2 with some information about the O2 X1 handset - details here...

was hoping O2 were going to go start offering a HTC Microsoft Smartphones... the O2 Asia site is listing the most recent version (HTC Voyager) as an XPhone due to be available in the territories it supplies to

I was also told it was a sharp buts its not as far as i know, its a french make ,Maxon or maxol or something to that effect, really nice phone, really small, <90 grams big seller for xmas.
I was also told by my sony ericsson rep that they are planninig to have the SE T610 for around 199-249 on ready-to-go/speakeasy fro Xmas...... im very doubtful about that but he was certain about the prices? very odd.

Sounds like O2 customers are gonna get a great deal on camera phones now. Be a nice change since everyone I know has a Sharp GX10 on Vodafone these days.
Not that inportant to me anyhow since I've got my 7250i for the long term I'd say.

02 put out a press release on this. It is a branded one - not a sharp or anything. Apparently €199 Speakeasy and 109 for contract. Not bad!
