    Do the guys in their actually have to spend time reforming, with paroles and the possibility of release, or is it just a form of torture, leading to hilarious comments such as this.

    How does somebody get into prison? Do you have to be banned from one forum, or from all of boards? For instance, could that utility guy post in there if he wanted?

    And has anybody ever gotten out of prison?

    You can only get into Prison by being banned from all of Boards.ie (having "Banned" as your title).

    As far as I know there's no reform procedure and the muppet accounts usually (if not always) stay banned, but I suppose it's up to the admins anyway.
