    Hi

In the month of October O2 had a special price for GPRS traffic.

This price was 1 cent per KB.
The normal price is 3 cent per KB

I had seen this price list on their website (o2.ie) and increased the ammount of GPRS usage based on the fact that it was now cheaper.

When checking my credit i noteced it seem to have less than i should have had in it.

The only thing i was unsure was the price i was beening charged for GPRS.

So i priced a 1KB download and foun it cost 3 cents which is 3 times the cost it should be.

Two weeks ago i rang o2 customer care and gave them the information.
The girl i dealth with took the details and sent them to be investageted she told me some one would call back.
I did not recive a call so i call back last saturday I called back for an update (I was told they called me on the 17 but i did not miss a call and had no VM).
This time I was told that the internet group had a special price for october of 1 cent per KB and that i was over charged.
She told me i would be compensated for the over charge and i shoul call back on tuesday 28 of Oct. I asked why I should call at the cost of 19 cent per call when it is their problem she then said she would call me on Tuesady.

Tuesday came and went with out a call.
Today i called back and had them look at it again. The Business support unit and the Tech. support supervisor we looking into it.
I got a call back later today at 3pm but missed it. They will call back tomorrow.

So Everone on Speakeasy or Bill should check their GPRS charges for October.

    Hi

    Here is the end result

Spoke to the orignal o2 Agent and was informed of the following:

The website was incorrect. ( But i had already been told it was special offer for October)
It has now been changed to show the correct price of 3c per KB
o2 Will refund the money to my account from the 1st of October to the date the website was changed due to misleading information on the website.

I would adv. any heavy users of o2 GPRS to ring and complain.

    Good luck,
    Eóin

i just use a GPRS data package so I'm not charged per KB unless I go over my monthly allowance then it's a special rate per MB - so doesn't affect me...

take a look at this thread you might see if any of the posters are in the same boat...

I have still to get confirmation on the site change.
I will post the update then.

IGY just ring o2 and ask them to investagate if you were over charged.

    Hi Lads

Just to wrap up my problem.

    I got a call yesterday from o2.

I had spent €9.50 during the promotion.
o2 refunded the whole ammount not just the differance in cost.

Not bad for 5-6 calls to 1747 (@ 14c per call)

Any way i am now a happy bunny.

    Go get yours.
